The Maltese Olympic Committee and the Commonwealth Games Association Malta announced the programme of events around the arrival of the Queen’s Baton Relay in Malta, which will arrive on Monday 11th October. Events in various localities will take place in the presence of  a number of dignitaries, local council representatives and the Maltese Olympic Committee team. The Maltese Olympic Committee has selected a number of Baton Bearers to accompany the Baton throughout its Maltese journey.  The Baton Bearers were chosen based on their achievements and represent the spirit of the Commonwealth and serve as an inspiration to others. The Baton Bearers for the 2022 Queen’s Baton Relay are – Charlton Debono, Janet Richard, Carla Scicluna, Jeremy Zammit (Athletics), Matthew Abela (Badminton), Thomas Borg (Paralympics – Athletics), Anthony Micallef (Rugby), Eleanor Bezzina, Michaela Galea (Shooting) Julian Scerri, Lijana Sultana (Squash), Christine Delia (Swimming), Anthea Cutajar (Table Tennis), Yazmin Zammit Stevens (Weightlifting) Meanwhile,  Neil Agius, Fabio Spiteri and Jake Vella have been appointed as Game Changers. Game Changers are those individuals who have through their endeavours attempted to improve the lives of others and the environment around them.
