The Malta Squash Federation announced that it will be hosting the European Team Division 3 Squash Championships. The European Team Championships (ETC) are a high level international competition played between teams representing different nations organised by the European Squash Federation. Countries enter teams of maximum 5 in the Ladies and maximum 6 players in the men’s to represent them in the championships. In each round of the competition, teams face each other in a best-of-five singles matches contest. Ladies teams are made of 3 players whilst men are made of 4. Teams play each other with seed 1 playing against seed 1 and so on. Organised under the auspices of the European Squash Federation, this highly anticipated event will take place in Malta from April 2nd to April 5th , 2025, welcoming top national teams from across Europe to compete for the coveted title. This championship marks an exciting opportunity to showcase Malta as a premier destination for international sports events while promoting the growth and development of squash locally.
