The Maltese Olympic Committee announced that its annual Olympic Day celebrations will take place on Sunday 15th June, from 8:00am to 12:00pm, at the University of Malta A number of affiliated sports federations will be participating in this year’s event, offering the public the opportunity to learn more about various sporting disciplines, try them out first-hand, and meet some of Malta’s top athletes. Among the confirmed disciplines so far are Badminton, Body Building, Cycling, Football, Gymnastics, Judo, Netball, Rugby, Taekwondo,Triathlon, Weightlifting and Wrestling, with more expected to join in the coming days. This year’s edition also features a Fun Ride around the University Ring Road – an inclusive activity open to everyone using bicycles, skateboards, roller skates, or any other non-motorised wheeled vehicle.
