Thea Parnis Coleiro delivered a strong performance in the girls’ 200 m final, finishing 6th in 24.07 seconds—just 0.01 seconds off the national record she had set in yesterday’s semi‑final.  Margherita Castellani of Italy claimed the gold medal in the same 200 m final. Castellani was a silver medallist in the 2024 European Athletics U18 Championships. In Taekwondo, Alycia Cassar competed in the Girls’ –63 kg division but was edged out by Germany’s Viktoria Rucinski in a 2–0 defeat, bringing her competition at the Games to a close in the first round. Team Malta’s final appearance at the Festival is scheduled for tomorrow in Osijek, Croatia, where gymnast Sophie St. John will compete in the Balance Beam Final.
