The Malta Judo Federation held its flagship yearly event – the Malta International Judo Open. 13 clubs from 7 countries fielded 116 competitors over the 2 days.
The Malta Judo Academy (Pembroke branch) won the most gold medals, 11,,with Tigne Judo Club following with 7, and with 5 gold medals each.
LPS Pitesti from Romania, J.K. Aleksinac from Serbia, Lendava Judo Club from Slovenia and R.K. Judo from the United Kingdom.
