The Maltese Olympic Committee (MOC) is inviting eligible athletes to put themselves forward for nomination to the MOC Athletes’ Commission, the body that serves as the vital bridge between Malta’s athlete community and the Committee. The Commission is looking for athletes who are passionate about sport and motivated to contribute to the development of athlete education, and who want to play an active role in supporting and representing the sporting community. Eligibility Criteria To submit a nomination, candidates must:

  • be a member of a Sport Federation or Association officially recognised by the MOC;
  • have competed in at least one of the last three editions of the Olympic, European, Commonwealth, Mediterranean Games or the GSSE;
  • have never received any sanction related to the World Anti-Doping Code;
  • have never received any sanction related to the Manipulation of Sports;
  • be a citizen of Malta and at least 16 years of age.

How to Apply Completed nomination forms should be sent by email to admin@nocmalta.org by noon on Friday, 15 May 2026. An election will then be held on Friday, 22 May 2026, during which a minimum of five (5) athletes will be elected to the Commission.
