Beppe Grillo

Beppe Grillo has been practicing athletics since the age of 14 and has dedicated the past three years to semi-professional training, establishing himself as one of Malta’s top sprinters in the 100m and 200m events. His competitive achievements include multiple medals at the Championships for the Small States of Europe, such as a silver in the 100m, bronze in the 200m, and gold in the Swedish relay.

About Beppe Grillo

At the 2023 GSSE, he won gold in the 4x100m relay and bronze in the 100m. In 2024, he finished 4th at the U23 Mediterranean Games and ranks 7th in Europe’s Under-23 category for the 100m. At the Balkan Senior Championships in Izmir, he earned bronze medals in the 100m and 4x100m relay, while setting a new Maltese senior record in the 100m with a time of 10.23 seconds. Beppe is the current national champion in both the 100m (10.47) and 200m (21.35), and part of the record-setting 4x100m relay team with a time of 40.51 seconds. At the 2024 Paris Olympics, he competed in the 100m preliminary round, finishing fifth in his heat with a time of 10.69 seconds but did not advance further.
