Malta has been chosen to host the 45th European Olympic Committees Seminar that will bring together all Presidents and Secretary Generals of all 50 National Olympic Committees in Europe. The announcement was made by EOC President Spyros Capralos at the end of the 44th EOC Seminar that was held over the past two days in Budva, Montenegro. He stated that this follows Malta’s excellent organisation of the Games of the Small States of Europe in 2023. Maltese Olympic Committee President Julian Pace Bonello was elated that such a prestigious event in the calendar of European sport will be returning to Malta after 25 years. He stated that this is yet another vote of trust in the potential of the Maltese Olympic Committee. The Seminar will be held in late September 2025 and will be the first continental administrative gathering following the election of a new International Olympic Committee President in March 2025.
