The Maltese Olympic Committee congratulates Mr Glenn Micallef on his nomination as EU Commissioner for Intergenerational Fairness, Youth, Culture, and Sport.

As the governing body of elite sport in Malta, we augur Mr Micallef well in the next steps of the nomination process and look forward to the possibility of engaging with Mr Micallef to support initiatives that strengthen the role of sport across Europe.

The MOC remains committed to being active stakeholders in promoting the development and well-being of sport and athletes, both locally and on a European level.
