About Wenzu Vella

Wenzu Vella was a shooter who represented Malta at the 1960 Summer Olympics in Rome. He competed in the Men’s Trap Shooting event, marking a significant moment in the history of Maltese participation in Olympic shooting sports.

Vella was affiliated with the Malta Sport Shooting Federation based in Valletta and is remembered as a pioneering figure in Maltese shooting. His legacy in the sport also continued through his family, with relatives such as Larry Vella, Frans Pace, and Adam Vella also involved in competitive shooting.
