The annual IWF Vladan Mihajlovic weightlifting tournament in Serbia will be underway this weekend with 3 Maltese athletes participating. The tournament will be organised slightly earlier this year due to a large concentration of competitions during the later months of 2018. Yazmin Zammit Stevens, Elisia Scicluna and Vlad Baldacchino will be taking the platform on Saturday 19th May against athletes from, Spain, Georgia, Bulgaria, Romania, Israel, Bosnia, Slovenia and the host country Serbia. Jesmond Caruana will lead up the team.
