The Malta DanceSport Association (MDA), established in 1994, is dedicated to promoting and advancing Amateur DanceSport in all its forms. Each year, it hosts the Malta DanceSport Cup under the auspices of the World DanceSport Federation (WDSF). This prestigious event features competitions such as the WDSF International Open Standard and Latin categories, accommodating a wide range of participants, including Juvenile, Junior, Youth, Under 21, Adult, and Senior divisions. These tournaments provide an exceptional platform for dancers across various age groups and skill levels to showcase their talent from all over the world. The Association also focuses on organizing events and promotions, to create local and international opportunities for its members. As an affiliate organization, the MDA actively engages with the World DanceSport Federation (WDSF), the Malta Olympic Committee, and the Malta National Sports Council, contributing voluntarily to initiatives that benefit the DanceSport community.
