At the 1992 Barcelona Summer Olympic Games, Malta competed in athletics with Deirdre Caruana and Carol Galea, in shooting with Horace Micallef, in judo with Jason Trevisan and Laurie Pace, and in sailing with Jean Paul Soler. Laurie Pace served as Opening Ceremony flag bearer and Louis Borg served as Chef de Mission.
